ArriveAlive
Prince Michael International Road Safety Award Winners
Arrive Alive is the DSA’s award winning Road Safety Programme, dedicated to influencing young peoples’ attitudes towards learning to drive, the driving test and the longer term skill of safe driving for life.
There are a number of different types and levels of presentation, including modules for Schools and Colleges and the newly launched “Arrive Alive Motorbike”. These are available to groups of young people within the target age range of 16-19 and there are modified versions of the presentation for the Probation Service, Young Offenders Units and Prisons. “You Can Drive Too” addresses the problems faced by young people with mobility issues.
All of the modules are delivered free of charge.
ArriveAlive Classic
There are a greater number of older, experienced drivers on our roads today. However as we get older, the ability to react quickly to situations slows down, along with changes in health which occur so gradually that we may not even be aware of them.
The Arrive Alive Classic presentation encourages road safety awareness for the 50+ age group, concentrating on people who have retired, with the aim of keeping older drivers driving safely for longer.
